Hello everyone! My name is Saviroosje and I’m an all-round artist! Today I will be showing you my Digital Art Journey!
Beginning
This must have been my proudest moment as an artist. “I made something on a computer! I am so happy!” At least those were my thoughts at that moment, which were very dear to me because this drawing made me want to make more! This drawing was the start of my Digital Art Journey. This drawing was actually drawn on normal paper, but colored in Paint!
The middle of my Journey
I made tons of digital art, without practicing any anatomy or shading or lighting, or… Did I? Yes I did: even though you think you don’t practice enough or try too hard, you are always learning, from every drawing. I learned using colours, looking at other pictures, getting inspired by other people’s art. That is also practicing and learning! Even though you were not really trying to learn something, you actually were. Because you see, this drawing is already a couple steps further than the first one, am I right?
Right now
Finally a drawing from this year - this month actually. I kept on doing what I always did, drawing, creating art. Getting inspired by other people’s drawings and art. Practicing compositions and anatomy, lighting and shading. I set my mind to it more in the last couple of years! But I am still enjoying my art the same as I did when I was 13 years old. Seeing my old art made me remember where I came from, that I actually made progress and got better, which made me feel so much more delighted. I actually make progress! And so
DO YOU.
Now it is time to show me YOUR Journey!
Show the oldest drawing / craft / picture you can find, one in the middle and your latest artwork! Finally some questions for you to answer!
- When did you first begin in art and what type did you start with?
- What were some proud moments for you with your artwork?
- Do you have any goals for your artistic future, if so what are they?
I am looking forward to seeing all your lovely journeys in the comment section!
Thank you for reading!
